Omondi Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from MasenoUniversity. He also holds a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from AMREFF. He is currently the Monitoring and Evaluation & Data officer at SWAP Kenya.
Prior to this position, he was aData Officer at USAID Plus supporting Partner Notification Study, DREAMS and HIV PEPFAR funded Programs.
He has also worked in ICAP as a Monitoring and Evaluation officer in HIV PEPFAR Program and on several occasions supported Information and Technology Department.
Omondi’sapproach to work has been that of efficient utilization of resource to make service delivery efficient. His area of focus has been data utilization for decision making thus impacting positive people living in the community.
Hisinterest and passion in the community support and those vulnerable communities has enabled him understand what best practice can be deployed to manage information.
He utilizes his IT skills to develop on-demand systems and web applications. His latest application has since been rolled out to a group that tracks monetary transactions; this will then be scaled up to a web platform.
Omondi is open to critic and challenges that bring positive change in life and is open to work with people who are enthusiastic.
