Crystal of Hope Award

Dear Alie,

It is my pleasure to inform you that the board of directors has chosen SWAP Kenya to be the recipient of the 2014 Crystal of Hope Award endowed with a donation of €100,000, awarded during the Life Ball Opening Ceremony on City Hall Square. The entire Life Ball office and the board of AIDS LIFE are all very much looking forward to welcoming you in Vienna and getting to know you in person, as well as learning more about your great and inspiring project in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

This year’s Life Ball will take place on the 31st of May 2014. As we go along, I will provide you with a more detailed schedule of the events.

Life Ball will provide the flight from Nairobi to Vienna and back, as well as hotel and a personal host during the Life Ball weekend.

In 2015 Alie Eleveld, Country Director of SWAP was invited back to Life Ball in Vienna, this time to receive a donation of Euro 10,000 from Lena Hosheck, a famous Austrian Fashion designer who had designed and sold dresses of her Mama Africa Collection and donated some of the profit to SWAP.
