Merciline Lina Amollo Oyier (Ms)

Merciline Lina Amollo Oyier is a Development Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in Community and International Development. I have worked with Rural and Urban populations in Rural and Urban settings on themes of WASH, Urban Planning, Community Organization, Governance, Resilience, Sustainable Livelihoods, Food and Nutritional Security, Health and Gender and Inclusion focusing on Socio-Economic as well as Policy Lobbying and Advocacy issues. I hold a Bachelor of Science, Degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Kenyatta University (Kenya), an Executive Master’s in Business Administration Degree from The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya) and a Certified Project Management professional by the Project Management Institute (PMI USA).
Past engagements have been with Women in the Fishing Industry Project (WIFIP) and Care International before joining my current organization Catholic Organization for Relief and Development Aid (CORDAID) where I have served in different roles from the Coordinator of the Integrated Urban Development Programme (Urban Matters) in Kisumu, Programme Manager for PFR Horn of Africa Programme to my current Role as the Interim Country Manager with roles in Business Development and doubling as the Coordinator for The Agri Business Market Ecosystems Alliance (AMEA) Network. My Assignments have been in Kenya and the Horn of Africa (Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Ethiopia).
