KNIGHT IN THE ORDER OF ORANGE NASSAU

In April 2013 Alie Eleveld, founder SWAP, was decorated by former Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands as “Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau”. This was for her dedication and making a difference to the lives of people living with HIV and the most vulnerable communities in Africa. The function was presided over by the Dutch Ambassador, and witnessed by family, friends and colleagues.
